We had most of our wedding guests stick around until the end and I know that was because they were having so much fun on the dance floor. That's key to a fun wedding. "The Marine Corps Birthday is the most one of the most important occasions in the Corps, and is celebrated by Marines around the world wherever they serve. It is an occasion we take very seriously and strive to make as perfect as we can. We were honored to have Ocean Drive Party Band provide the entertainment for our Ball here at Assault Amphibian School Battalion, Camp Pendleton, California. Bottom line up front: You guys were extraordinary, and I have to tell you - you made it perfect! Not only are you a group of unbelievably talented musicians and showmen, but also, you are truly a bunch of great guys who we had a ton of fun with. I have no doubt in my mind that there was not one Birthday Ball in the Marine Corps that had entertainment the caliber of Ocean Drive Party Band - and I have seen a few in my career. I remain in awe of the talent you guys have and for the extra effort and attention you all put in to make this night special for us. I will never be able to put into words the impact you had on the Marines and families of this Battalion - from Treg's rendition of Amazing Graze performed with the Orange County Fire Pipes and Drums honoring our fallen Marines, to the high caliber dance music that had the dance floor loaded with dress blues and ball dresses! I can not say it any better than the Marines and guests themselves who, without exception, have told me this was the best ball they have ever attended, and the one they will forever measure against. Ocean Drive Party Band played a significant role in this! Rest assured, this is no small feat as some of our guests included an 89 year old Marine veteran of WW II, Korea, and Vietnam, some very senior Marine Officers and enlisted Marines, and a whole host of younger Marines who have all seen their share of Marine Corps Birthday celebrations and who all have wide ranging tastes in music. There is no doubt in my mind that you guys are the best party band in South Carolina, and on 10 November 2009, you were undoubtedly the best party band in California.
